Using my hands as a method to bring my art to life has been consistent all my life. My inspiration is drawn from life. It has no limitation. And it is already alive before I begin the process. I use paper mache made out of newspaper to sculpt wired armatures. My work is figural and deconstructed because it is meant to engage the imagination. It is not meant to be literal or rational. I draw from three concepts - irony, beauty, and literature.
